It could be said that the best stage performers are also fine actors, using their creative powers of expression to engage the public. Cesar has given meaning to this saying through his own live performances, one of the factors that led to his being chosen for the role of a Native American Medicine Man in The Magic Stone (1995), by the acclaimed independent film producer and director Pamela Berger. The movie, originally titled Killian’s Chronicle and based in part on the historical Icelandic saga, recounts the clash of Norseman in the New World with the Native Americans they encountered in the New World.

Upon returning to Peru, Cesar has worked on various film projects. He was selected to be the Native American in the "Popeye's Louisiana Kitchen, Peru" commercial; he played the part of a chaski (Incan runner) in a piece which shows how the World Wide Web can make connections between our current culture and our ancestors through modern technology; he also worked with the well known Peruvian actor and comedian Carlos Alcántara in a bank scene in the movie Asu Mare! 2, which premiered in Peruvian cinemas in 2015. Also during 2015, Cesar and his son can be seen in the introduction to the popular Peruvian folklore program with Lesley Cabello entitled Encantos del Perú (Enchantments of Peru).
